Another unit of the mid 17th Century Swedish army - infantry of the new type - national - composed of recruits from Sweden and Finland. Such regiments were relatively uniform and well armed. Of coures uniformity in 17th Century was an abstract trerm. During campaigns soldiers were wearing various clothes they managed to find or loot. In this case having uniforms meant that these infantrymen didn't have to march for war in civilian outfits.
