Several photos from this year's edition of Grenadier strategic games convent that took place on 26th and 27th of May in Warsaw. I was able to participate only in one day and was very "figure focused". That doesn't mean that I'havend tried some historical weapons like this 17th Century sabre.
Camp of the Red Army - historical reconstructions were taking place at the same time as games.
Polish system By Fire and Sword was played on many tables - Eastern and Central European warfare in the 17th Century
Paweł Kur (QR Miniatures) was presenting the entire line of his figures
A bit "unorthodox" deployment of QR Miniatures figures. In the centre 17th Century troops - artillery, musketeers, dragoons and cavalry. Left flank was held by Margrave's Hodo army from the 10th Century. Right flank was held by the army of Mieszko I with his Slavic allies (also 10th Century).
Army of Mieszko I - readers of my blog may already know some of these figures. There are also other figures of Slavic warriors added to this army. I've bought them already so in its time You'll probably see them on my blog.
