Next element of the Margrave's Odo army. As i've promised some historical background. In German Empire Marches were a border regions ruled by Margraves. They were local commanders that were able to call knights to participate in military actions. Area of their operations included also regions behind the border of the Empire.
Margraves had also their own units of knights composed of best equipped warriors.
Figures depict such knights with best equipment available in 10th Century - almond shaped shields, chainmail, lances and swords. These figures are also universal - they may represent knights present in nearly every Western European army of the period.
