Praca nad tym samym tematem w różnych skalach daje możliwość porównania stosowanych technik. W weekend poza hoplitami w skali 15mm ukończyłem również to drugie już greckie dowództwo. Figurki 10mm Magister Militum.

Working on the same subject in different scales gives possibility of comparing modelling techniques. During the weekend I've managed to finish this 10mm Greek command. Fugures by Magister Militum.


Czym rózni się praca nad figurkami 10mm i 15mm? Przede wszystkim cieniowaniem. W 10mm uzywam jaśniejszego odcienia dipa Army Paintera. Figurki trzeba też pomalować w nieco jaśniejsze kolory. Z bliska mogą się one wydawać nierealistyczne, ale ustawione w szyku według mnie wygladają świetnie.

What differs work with 10 and 15mm figures. Mostly shading. In 10mm I use light tone of Army Painter dip. Also smaller figures should be painted in brighter colours. At close look they may seen too bright but in my oppinion they look much better when in formation on the table.
